Your aeon agent just got a multichain wallet
Agent Wallet is now a supported wallet in the aeon framework, the first multichain wallet in its catalog. Connect once, fund it, and your agent holds, moves, and earns onchain, with keys that never leave a secure enclave.

Finance District's Agent Wallet is now a supported wallet in aeon, one of the leading autonomous agent frameworks available today.
Unlike OpenClaw or Hermes agents, aeon agents run while you sleep. They research, monitor markets, review code, and repair their own skills on a schedule, no approval loops, no babysitting. As of this week, they can also do something most agents still can't: hold, move, and earn with real onchain assets, safely.

Meet aeon
If you haven't come across it yet, aeon is one of the most trusted open source autonomous agent frameworks running today. Super easy setup: fork a repo, pick your skills, and your agents work in the background on everything from DeFi and organizational workflows to content and security research. Its security skill alone has found and responsibly disclosed real vulnerabilities across open-source projects totalling more than 1.6 million GitHub stars. It's MIT-licensed, self-healing, and more than 60 skills strong and growing.
We're proud to have Agent Wallet featured in its catalog alongside tools from Robinhood and Base, and that we're the first to bring a multi-chain wallet to the aeon ecosystem.

What your agent can do now
Connect once, and your aeon agent gets a real, non-custodial wallet. On the DeFi side of things, it can hold and send across EVM chains, Solana, Bitcoin, and Sui, swap tokens (EVM and Solana), discover onchain yield options and deploy into them (EVM). Additionally, using x402, your agent can now pay for its own data with API calls in stablecoins, think CoinMarketCap pay per request data as just one of many use cases.
Here's an example of what that looks like in practice. Give your agent a standing instruction in its config: keep my idle stablecoins in the best vault that meets my criteria (i.e. minimum TVL, minimum amount of depositors, etc.). On each scheduled run it surveys the options, and when a better vault qualifies it rotates your funds over, requesting the withdrawal, waiting out settlement where a vault needs it, depositing on the next pass. No approval click at any step, and because the agent can only work with what you funded, your exposure is whatever you chose to put in. That's the whole point of aeon, now with a multichain wallet attached.
The seatbelt is at the wallet, not in the prompt
Autonomy is only useful if it's safe, and this is where the two systems fit like they were designed together. aeon's philosophy is that autonomy needs brakes. Agent Wallet is where the brakes live.
Agent Wallet is non-custodial by architecture. Private keys are generated inside an AWS Nitro Enclave and never leave it, not to the agent, not to the model, not to us. Even our own infrastructure operators can't extract key material. Your agent never holds a key; it submits a structured instruction, the signing happens inside the enclave, and only a signature comes back. So the failure mode that haunts every other agent wallet, a private key sitting in an .env file, one leaked log or misconfigured deploy away from being drained, isn't available here.
The second protection is deliberately the simplest one, fund it like pocket money. You decide what goes into the wallet, and that balance is the ceiling, enforced by the blockchain itself, not by a policy file you have to write and maintain. Start with what the task actually needs, refill as the agent earns your confidence, and the worst case stays the pocket money rather than the portfolio.
You stay the principal throughout, you connect with your own District Pass, and your agent acts as a bounded delegate on your behalf.
Connect in three steps
- In your aeon dashboard's MCP panel, hit Connect on Finance District and sign in with your District Pass — only email and confirmation code are needed (takes 2 minutes).
- Add a fine-grained GitHub PAT with Secrets read/write as
GH_SECRETS_PAT, so aeon keeps your wallet session fresh across headless runs. - Enable the
finance-district-mcpskill inaeon.yml. That's the whole setup: one connect, one secret, one skill.
The companion repo with the skill and setup guide is at financedistrict-platform/fd-aeon-skills, and aeon itself is a fork away at github.com/aeonfun/aeon.
Agents that do real work need real money, held safely, funded deliberately.
All it takes is a quick Finance District sign-up.
