Prism Now Supports UCP and ACP
A single Prism integration accepts agent payments across both major commerce protocols, built on the existing x402 settlement rail.
Integrate Prism once, and you can accept payment from an AI agent no matter which protocol it speaks. Prism is protocol-agnostic. It translates across x402, UCP, and ACP, so your integration stays the same as the standards evolve.
Prism now supports both major agentic-commerce protocols. Google's Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) has been live since March, and OpenAI's Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) since May. In each, Prism supplies the payment handler, xyz.fd.prism_payment, that settles the transaction on-chain, building on the x402 settlement rail that has been live since February.
Why This Matters
Agent-driven commerce is splitting into camps, and merchants shouldn't have to bet on one. With Prism speaking both protocols, you can:
- Reach agents from the OpenAI and Google ecosystems through a single integration
- Settle every purchase on-chain in stablecoins via one payment handler
- Keep your merchant code unchanged as x402, UCP, and ACP evolve
- Add whatever protocol comes next without re-integrating
